The hybrid principle
A conventional mold asks one material to deliver surface geometry, stiffness, durability and integration. RPS assigns these functions to two optimized systems: an additively manufactured composite cavity and a reusable external metal frame.

Composite cavity
The cavity is produced through large-format additive manufacturing, then finished to meet the surface, dimensional and process requirements of the target component. Geometry changes are localized to the cavity—not the entire tool.
Structural frame
The external metal frame manages clamp, injection and handling loads. Its reusable architecture concentrates high-value metal only where structural performance demands it.
Air-assisted release
A controlled air interface supports demolding after cure, reducing reliance on brute-force extraction and making release more consistent across production cycles.
Material efficiency by design
The hybrid architecture concentrates machined metal in the reusable structural frame and uses composite material for the geometry-specific cavity. This reduces unnecessary material removal while retaining industrial load capacity.
